Hi, I would like to discuss about the fact that you lose money when you D/C. While I was in-game, I noticed that I had lost my money when I disconnected and reconnected. I then notified bitsnbytes to him in-game and he told me to post it on the forums. I just believe this mechanic should be taken out of the server for the following reasons:
-Players Who AFK and lose connection lose their money
-A player not knowing they lose money when they disconnect (Like robbing NPCs, robbing players, etc.)
-This 'losing money when you D/C' mechanic is not good for cops either. Cops are scavengers who loot money off of dead players + Cops cannot lose money.
I would just like to get it out there that this mechanic is no good for the server and bitsnbytes agrees. We should trust our players and removed this mechanic.
NOTICE- PLAYERS WHO ABUSE MONEY MAKING (D/CING WHEN BEING CHASED SHOULD BE BANNED/WARNED TEMPORALIY.
I want to see what the community thinks and the owner, Darth Tater.

Hey guys, what I found out that if you lose connection to the server you DON'T lose your money! If you D/C the server optionally you will lose the money. What i'm saying is this mechanic for the server should stay.

Ummm NO. I do not think it should stay. If I go in the server right now, I will most likely lose my money. I did not DC, it would have been because of my connection.
Regardless, sometimes people DC when they are at the Lost Connection thing. Some people DC because they are stuck, or need to have something updated. No reason they should lose their money.

Thank you for your contribution here folks. I agree with the majority of your comments here. So now you do not lose money during disconnect! I also look at several occasions where our data is corrupted, and has deployed a code to mitigate the problem, as well as continuing testing. One thing I noticed is Sanitation job will break your data, so it is now taken off the list. Furthermore, in my initial testing, when you do not select a job during connection, it will break your data. I may default players to a drug addict or alternative profession.
Keep those suggestions coming!

I see three issues regarding to data loss:
1. There was an offending code that randomly corrupted data. This code was taken out, and data will be monitored if indeed that cured the problem.
2. When you select the job of Sanitary, it will give you a job of “Unemployed”; the server will then give you items and money as if you just join the game. To fix the problem, Sanitary was taken out of the job list.
3. There’s a bug in the job menu selector: if a player was given the menu and the player chose cancel or will not select a job, the menu will give that player a job title of “Unemployed.” Hence, that player will go back to the beginning state. Therefore, make sure you select a job while I’m looking at how to fix this problem.

I lost all my inventory again and I think it is because the map restarted at 11:10pm last night and then I just shut down my pc and came back today. I took screens but I probably didn't own the 45k cuffsaw at the time I did screen caps tho..
