I join Darth Tater in welcoming you to OrcRealm. Both Darth and I have extensive professional experience including designing, programming, and video gaming. We love roleplay (as we know you do) and invite you to join with us as we strive to evolve RP game to the next level. One way you can help us in this early stage of the server is to meet new players by giving them a break (at least for the first five hours) and walk-them-through sections of the map, as well as teaching them one or two jobs. We will come out with official rules soon.

As you already know, one of Darth’s unique idea has been transitory paradigms (nothing is permanent). For example properties expires. We will transcend this thinking to include the time officers will serve in the server. Meaning, cops and admins will serve an x number of weeks and then allow other players to handle these roles.

Like many of you, we have day jobs to take care, so they come first. We will deploy new surprises and ideas in installment basis but in a regular fashion. Your inputs are crucial! We do not believe in the “players out there” versus “the officers in here” mentality. We believe that in the gaming community, we all belong to an invisible whole. So, keep your ideas coming, have fun, and we will see you in the game!
